Karen Robinson Lecture & Freestyle Clinic

January 23rd, 2015 Karen will present a lecture covering the development of a freestyle ride. On Saturday the 24th and Sunday the 25th she will help riders chose music and choreograph their rides.  There is still time to register to ride or audit the clinic. Please contact the office.

Congratulations to Lauren and Rag Doll

Rag Doll - High-Score Winner

The ISR/Oldenburg inspection was held on August 16th, at Hilltop Farm, MD. Rag Doll, owned by Lauren Kimmel and bred by Angelique Le Vell, was the High-Score Winner of the Performance Test with an impressive 78 points overall including an 8.5 for jumping ability and an 8.0 for rideability. Rag Doll (Regazzoni-Matissa) was also accepted into the Main Mare Book with a score of 97 points.

RPSI Inspection 2014

RPSI Inspection was held at Wood's Lane Farm, August 7, 2014.

Fendi-PSG-071214-wsFendi W (Sired by Falsterbo) is competing Prix St. Georges and Intermediate I. In the 2014 Dressage at Lexington, he won FEI Test of Choice on 07/11 with a 75%. On 07/12, he was 4th in his division and the PSG Challenge with 70.263%. On 07/13, he did his first I-1 (he had not done the test in training) and was 4th with 69.474%.  Their goal is a small tour in CDIs in Florida next winter.

Loverboy-WS-1R Loverboy (Regazzoni/ First Class) who scored a 70% the first day and a 67% the second day on his First Level Tests. The judges comments on his ride Sunday were "shows correct foundation, many things to like".

Charles de Kunffy Seminar 

Mr. de Kunffy's expertise is much appreciated and he is a popular clinician, a sought after dressage judge and a prolific author of several books and articles. He was born and raised in Hungary as a member of the nobility whose parents were eminent horse breeders with derby winning racehorses. Mr. de Kunffy started riding as a child, always under expert supervision and instruction. His riding masters were educated during the golden age of equitation 1900-1945. Cross-country riding, jumping and dressage were melded into one comprehensive riding theory and methodology. Mr. de Kunffy was schooled with the strictest adherence to classical training traditions based on scholarship and a profound respect for the horse.
