Wood's Lane Farm, LLC is entered through the woods via a half-mile winding gravel drive. We have gently rolling hills and double-fenced pastures. Each pasture has a run-in shed and water. Horses are turned out 24/7 in small, age and gender appropriate groups.
The barn consists of eight 12'x18' stalls and two 12'x24' foaling stalls, tack room with observation into the primary foaling stall, grooming stall, wash stall with hot and cold water, and breeding stocks. There is a 100' by 200' outdoor arena adjacent to the barn.
The 1600 square ft. breeding shed is equipped with rubber brick flooring, a breeding phantom, and a stall for both the tease mare and the stallion. It is contiguous with the breeding lab, which is fully equipped for fresh cooled semen processing. We run a complete semen evaluation on each stallion collection. This ensures a reproductive history of each stallion, as well as allowing us to monitor changes in ejaculate characteristics. We also have ample storage space for frozen semen.
